Uganda Screen 18 Unwashed Robusta

Uganda is one of Africa’s biggest exporters of coffee, both Arabica and Robusta.  Robusta is grown in the lower altitude areas of the Central, Eastern, Western and South Eastern regions of Uganda and can be found growing wild in the Lake Victoria Crescent and Kampala forest areas.  The general cup profile is described as “a rich aroma, a full chocolatey body with caramel and nutty notes” but will vary from season to season and across agro-ecologies.
