Indonesia Sumatra Mandheling Grade 1
Indonesia is made up of about 17500 islands and has a wide range of micro-climates. Not all are suitable for growing coffee but the main islands of Sumatra, Sulawesi, Papua and Java are also coffee growing islands. The mountainous interior regions are humid and receive high rainfall making for great growing conditions for Arabica coffees. Because of the wet-hulling process that is traditionally used Indonesian coffees have a distinct low-acidity, full bodied flavour profile.
