Colombia is one of the most famous coffee-producing countries in the world, known for its high-quality Arabica beans. The country’s diverse geography, with its mountainous terrain and ideal climate, provides perfect conditions for coffee cultivation. Regions like Huila, Antioquia, and Nariño are particularly renowned for their exceptional coffee. Colombian coffee is often characterized by its balanced acidity, medium body, and rich flavours with notes of caramel, nuts, and fruit.

Specifics – Pitalito is located in the south of Huila, and the mountains have a microclimate that allows for the growth and development of many Arabica varietals.
Pitalito is also a pioneer in associative coffee groups, since 2007 there were more than 300 groups in the entire region of Huila. This area is also the home of the Laboyano people. The thinking of the Laboyano is to do things well!
Women coffee growers did not have a space in which to be valued, and now with the current conditions, women coffee growers have been able to gain a very important space in the coffee industry, having a participation of 20% of the total production.
This lot is fully washed lot. Cherries are sorted, depulped, fermented for around 24-60 hours to break down the mucilage, thoroughly washed with clean water and then slow dried in parabolic silos.
